Are you missing this year Christmas Light Up 2015 at Orchard Road?

Once again, the Christmas Light Up at Orchard Road is here again. It is time to take out your camera and start your journey along Orchard Road, looking for nice and beautiful lightings and create beautiful photos with or without your loved ones in the photos or maybe strangers in your photos too.

Christmas become part of both Christian and non-Christian year end celebration. Whether you will attending church or not, it becomes a year end celebration especially shopping for gifts for your friends and family. Our President Tony Tan, without fail, will come to Orchard Road to officiate the Christmas Light Up ceremony at ION Singapore. I remember I was invited for this light-up event twice in the past years. 

Do bring down your family to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere and soaked yourself in the fun-filled "snow" outside the Orchard Gateway where they blow the "snow" high to fly as beautiful "snow flakes" falling into a tropical island known as Singapore.

Party yourself away at The After 10 SupperClub, Wicked Spring Awakening, Mitzo ( Video )

Looking for a place to dine, socialize with friends and to wind down the pressure that was built up during your day job, try Mitzo at Grand Park Hotel Level 4. It is both restaurant and bar. The After 10 SupperClub, one of the monthly event which I attended this 30 April 2015 was just amazing.

As the name suggested, Supper after 10pm until late piercing through the midnight with delicious Cantonese cuisine dim sum to satisfy your midnight hunger. I remember pestering the friendly waitresses for more. Music remixes from DJ Anthony and DJ Giusseppe G and enjoyed the unplugged music by popular live band Jack & Rai. Forget about the day headaches and problems at work, you definitely need a break.

Waitresses serving plates of hot piping free flow dim sum and gourmet bites to keep your energy level in check. A welcome drink of one Veuve Clicquot rośe champagne. A surprise performance of a couple in a sexy Latin dance grace along the passageway of the restaurant forming a line of party guests to cheer their extraordinary performance. It was nothing short of spectacular.

With free flow food, a glass of champagne, a night with party friends,a live brand to entertain you, DJ spinning the music and unexpected dance performance, what more can you ask for a ticket of only $50 ++ per person.

Yoga Beat At Orchard Road

Imagine one of most important road in Singapore was close for a huge yoga event. It was Pedestrian Night on Orchard Road on the 1 November 2014. The largest yoga event in Singapore was organised by athletic apparel company, lululemon athletica together with Orchard Road Business Association (Orba) and Singapore Tourism Board.

The mission of lululemon athletica is to build healthy communities. The event Yoga Beat will only be the start of many more fun and exciting activities leading up to the athletic apparel company opening of their first store in Asia.

Live longer and fun lives. That is what the company hope to achieve. Healthy lifestyle with yoga. You will be delighted to find a whole range of yoga apparels in the soon-to-be opening of  athletic store.

More than 900 yoga participants came for the event. The Orchard road was filled with people unlike the usual cars and buses. Imagine yourself lying at the centre of the road ( don't think you have many chances to do that ). After the yoga session, the fences were removed to allow the public to mingle with the participants in the largest yoga hip hop event in Singapore. Local musician DJ Koflow spins the hot numbers to the delights of the growing crowds. Local rapper Kevin Lester heightened the atmosphere with his rap.

On the stage, lululemon Singapore ambassadors, Lynn Yeo and Sumei Shum of space+light yoga, AntiGravity yoga instructor trainer Thicha and Seattle-based yoga teach, Patrick Beach of Beachyoga were present to lead the participants.

In my opinion, this event helps to introduce yoga to a larger crowd. Lululemon athletica mission statement is truly a great one,”build heathy communities”.
