Canon new Singapore office provides Integrated Customer Engagement Experience

I felt honoured to be invited by Canon for a tour at their  new office located at the Singapore newest Platinum Green Mark Building, Galaxis. I was impressed both by Canon and the building. One of the futuristic building in Singapore.

Canon Singapore started in 1979 and had provide Singaporeans well with her top-notched products. Good customer service is important. With this new integrated Singapore office and in line with its kyosei corporate philosophy of living and working together for the common good. Canon is also an active contributor to the local community, supporting diverse arts, environment and sports programmes. 

I recently attended a free talk on Dance Photography / Underwater Photography sponsored by Clubsnap and Canon. Canon Singapore is generous and believe in giving back to society. I am impressed with their kyosei corporate philosophy. As I worked as a freelance professional photographer, hopefully one day, I can switch to Canon camera gears. 

Canon houses all their wide range of solutions in a single location improve customer satisfaction and better work productivity and security for the company. Potential corporate customers will be able to experience first-hand comprehensive range of products ranging from large format printers ( imagePROGRAF), production inkjet printer  (DreamLabo 5000) and surveillance cameras. I am impressed with the the Canon surveillance cameras. They are able to zoom faces and surrounding automatically. They also allow tracking and face detection. A very complex and powerful surveillance cameras. 

Other area include the Canon Imaging Academy to help and teach Canon users to do more with their digital cameras. It now has wider training facilities including a studio catered to the training needs of both budding and professional photographers.

The final tour area is the repair and servicing of Canon camera department. At least 20 technicians were busy repairing and servicing the camera. I was impressed with the range of testing stations located inside the department. Speciaised test stations such as focusing, colour test etc. 

During the tour, we get to see some of the Canon new products.
